Apply online for SBI PO Exam 2013

State Bank of India intimated the dates of SBI PO EXAM 2013 a couple of days back, and now the time has arrived for online registration. SBI is not using the IBPS CWE score for recruitment, but they are apparently employing IBPS facilities for Internet-based application system, and conducting exams. If you’ve gone through the eligibility criteria and fully confident that your qualification meets the stipulation of the bank go ahead and apply online for SBI PO Exam here.

The SBI online enrollment form and the rules for filling the details is closely related to the one used in IBPS exams, so its rather simple for a candidate who has already applied for IBPS.

Prerequisites for applying SBI PO EXAM online.

 SBI PO exam 2013

1. Arrange a scanned version of your photo and signature in prescribed dimensions.

Every aspirant has to upload their recent color photograph and signature to the IBPS web portal (which SBI uses) as a part of the registration. The web application that accepts the input requires the photo and signature to be in specific, pre-defined dimensions and size, else it will get rejected. You can prepare them correctly by following the briefing given  here.

2. Decide on the payment method.

The SBI PO exam application fee is 50 RS for reserved and 200 for general candidates, and it can be paid in online or offline ways. The online approach is pretty easy-after filling the form and making the necessary corrections, click on the radio button for ” online payment ” and then submit. The browser will take you to a secure payment gateway where you can select credit/debit card or Internet banking option for remitting the fees.

The issue with the online payment is that if something undesired befalls during the payment processing the amount will get deducted from the account of applicant, but he/she may not get a registration number and password. However, in the offline payment method, you can confirm the registration (provisional) first, and then continue to the payment at any SBI branch in India.

For offline payment, tick the appropriate button in the form and submit. Then you will get the provisional “SBI PO exam 2013 ” registration number and password, along with a computer generated challan. Take a print-out of the challan and go to the nearest SBI office to complete the payment.

3. Understand the category code.

Not all members from “Other Back Classes” (OBC) can avail the community benefits and reservation in SBI PO examination. If your family is above the creamy-layer standard defined by the central government choose your category as GEN in the application form.

4.  Organize mark sheets and certificates for quick reference.

You’ve 20 minutes to fill  and submit the registration form, so arrange the certificates, mark list from +12 level before  proceeding to the link given below.
