IBPS recently faced much criticism from aspiring students for changing the PO exam eligibility norms. Country-wide protests were organized, and in Bihar, candidates even blocked train movements to drive media attention to the issue. It appears that IBPS finally listened to the concerns of the applicants. They yesterday withdrew the policy changes introduced for the 2013-2014 recruitment, and also the final date of online application has been extended.
IBPS PO Exam 2013-2014 dates
As per the new IBPS notification, candidates can apply online for the PO CWE 3 until 17th of August 2013 midnight.

These are the changes that got reversed to previous year’s standards..
- Age limit (20-28)- The maximum age limit without reservation is 30 yrs.
- Degree with 60% marks- Now just a pass in degree is enough.
- Computer Literacy-Certificate of computer knowledge is no more a mandatory qualification for applying IBPS PO Exam 2013-2014. However, computer knowledge is a module of the IBPS syllabus, and a related certificate would turn out to be an advantage for you at the common interview sessions.
