SBI seems to have introduced a radical change into its online recruitment in 2015. From this year, the recruitment will include two online exams; a typical objective-style preliminary exam and then a Main exam with objective and descriptive questions. Eligibility for SBI PO recruitment in 2015.
A degree holder can registrar for the SBI PO Recruitment in 2015 provided he/she belongs to the 21-30 age band as on 01-04-2015. Students pursuing the final year of the degree course may also apply for the recruitment if they could pass the graduation examination before 01.09.2015. An exception to the age criteria is available to the candidates entitled to the law permitted relaxation in India.

However, SBI grants PWD and OBC candidates up to seven chances, and SC/ST category gets unlimited turns.
SBI PO recruitment 2015: important dates.
SBI usually outs its PO notification in the month of April, every year. This year the online registration for the PO recruitment will begin on 13th of April 2015 and will continue until 7th of May 2015 (extended).

Post the application phase a call letter will be released to the appliers through email on 09.06.2015. SBI PO exam 2015 syllabus and pattern.
This year’s SBI PO exam will see a preliminary exam as the first phase like mentioned above. The marks in the prelims will only be a basis for the preparation of the initial list of candidates eligible for Main exam. There will be 100 objective questions in SBI PO preliminary exam 2015- each questions will carry one mark and the exam should be completed in one hour time limit. There was confusion among the aspirants about the syllabus and pattern of the Preliminary exam when IBPS announced one for the upcoming PO recruitment; the latest SBI PO notification throws some light on it. Winners of the Prelims can appear for the SBI PO Main examination in July 2015. The second exam of this year’s SBI recruitment will have objective and descriptive (English) questions carrying 200 and 50 marks respectively.
Candidates passing the PO Main examination will be invited for the SBI PO GD and Interview in 2016. The group discussion and interview section carries 50 marks. The total marks in the Main exam (250) and Interviews (50) will be reduced to out of 75 and 25 marks respectively using a formula. The CTC of a successful candidate enrolling as a Probationary Officer in State Bank of India is around 70000/- if posted in a Metro city. However, in hand salary of a new State Bank PO staff in 2015 is just be around 36000 pm, the rest of the CTC comprises of HRA, PF and other allowances.
