IBPS RRB exam dates in 2020

Each year IBPS starts its hiring process by notifying the RRB exam dates. IBPS has four different categories of recruitment under RRB, for Scale I, II, II Officers, and Assistant (Clerk) cadres. Although the dates all these exams come in a single advertisement, the registrations happen separately. Last year, in 2019, the announcement for regional rural bank recruitment (VIII) notification came out in June.

IBPS RRB registration in 2019 was between 18-06-2019 to 04-07-2019. As of today, the recruitment is going through the placement phase. Candidates who have applied for IBPS RRB recruitment and cleared Prelims and Mains exam may check their their provisional allotment status from the official website.

So when is the next IBPS date for the online application to the RRB Officer or Assistant vacancy? You can expect a new IBPS RRB registration in June 2020 and exams in August.

IBPS PO exam dates in 2020

The PO registration dates come just after the Regional Rural Bank recruitment in IBPS’s calendar. Being the most popular one in the IBPS portfolio, the PO exam attracts a large crowd of applicants from different degree streams. IBPS collected the applications for 2019’s PO recruitment from 07-08-2019 to 28-08-2019. People who have applied for the IBPS PO exam during these dates have already taken the prelims in October and the Main Exam in November.

Hence, you can’t write the IBPS PO exam in this year. Keep your focus on preparation as you wait for more than eight months until August 2020 for the next IBPS PO dates.

IBPS Clerk Exam dates 2020

There is no interview for IBPS Clerk Exam, and the syllabus is also a bit approachable for average students. Maybe this is the reason for nearly 10L candidates submitting their application for the IBPS Clerk exam from 17-0-2019 to 09-20-2019. It is the 9th IBPS Clerk Recruitment since inception. Those who took part in this session may now check the results of their Prelims Exam. The Main exam is scheduled for 19th of January 2020.

If you are new to the IBPS Clerk process, understand that you can’t apply for the exam now as the time is up for online enrollment. IBPS conducts Clerk recruitment during the same period every year, so expect the new registration in September 2020.

IBPS Specialist Officer (SO) Exam dates 2020

A bachelor’s degree is the qualification for IBPS PO and Clerk recruitment, but IBPS SO is different. There are very few opportunities in the IBPS Specialist category, and that too is split among various cadres. Anyways if you are a professional degree holder in one of the fields that IBPS has in the notification, you may apply online for the IBPS Specialist Officer (SO) recruitment. IBPS closed the online window for 2019’s SO registration on 26-11-2019 and the Exam was on the 28th and 29th of December 2019.
